Scott Allbee is one of only a handful of quality aviation artists who will produce personal artworks on demand for collectors, aircraft owners, and aviators. These items are commissioned as either the raw digital image or as short-run lithographs.
Typically if an interesting subject is offered, Scott Allbee will offer his services in producing a digital-only artwork at a reduced rate of $1,200 if a run of signed 100 prints is made with the first ten going to the individual commissioning the work. This leaves Scott Allbee with the remaining works to sell in the open market -- which is why his original price is so reasonable.
Programs for Active Duty Military
If you're an active duty military flyer or ground crewman, why not e-mail him or call him about his new program, whereby he paints one of your squadron's aircraft and prints them for you as stunning high quality printed posters, each signed and numbered by the artist himself! Essentially, just sign up 40 of your friends and you can immortalize your squadron and its aircraft for all history.
The program is simple -- sign up 40 squadron friends at $50 apiece, and Scott will work with you to generate your own commissioned artwork featuring your squadron's own aircraft! He will then print the artwork and sign each one in a numbered series that is highly suitable for framing. The print quality is excellent, using the highest quality print processes in Europe and rendered onto the finest paper.
Finally, he'll provide not only the 40 posters but an additional 20 at no additional charge with the order. These you can then give as gifts or sell on your own in the squadron mess -- and the profits can go to the recreation fund! The remaining prints are then the property of Scott Allbee and sold to the general public through Scott Allbee's website and at fine aviation art galleries.
